Cheap Cyprus apartment is there still  such a thing to be found? Although property prices in Cyprus are continuing to rise you can still find a cheap Cyprus apartment. When searching through Cyprus property lists you could be forgiven for thinking that there is no such thing as a cheap Cyprus apartment.

If however you are prepared to spend a little time doing some more in depth research you will uncover some cheap Cyprus apartment bargains for sale.

Most of the property offered for sale in Cyprus is new build "off plan" usually close to the beach and near the major resort centers. You definitely won't find a cheap Cyprus apartment there.

There are many slightly older properties many of which were once the ideal holiday apartment in Cyprus. Many of these are in fact still quite close to the beach and some even have communal swimming pools.

Travel slightly further away than walking distance from the coast and you will see a  surprisingly sharp drop in the prices of this kind of property. Most of these cheap Cyprus apartment complexes are in good order with plenty of amenities close by.

You are not likely to find these type of Cyprus properties advertised with the same sales agents who are pushing the newer development portfolios. This is due in some part to the commission arrangements between these agents and developers being more profitable. This in turn often means that the older resale properties don't get much of a showing including that cheap Cyprus apartment.
