You can fly direct to Cyprus from most of the major European airports ether by booking on a holiday charter flight or a scheduled flight. It's always worth shopping around and you will find some great Cyprus travel deals on the internet

There are two airports in southern Cyprus, Larnaca in the east and Paphos in the west.

If you are planning to stay in the resorts of Limasol, Paphos, Coral Bay, Polis or Pissouri village then Paphos airport is the ideal flight destination.

Whilst the resorts of Agia Napa, Protoras, Pernera and Kapparis are easily accessed via Larnaca airport.

Both airports have plenty of buses taxis and car hire

Remember that in Cyprus they drive on the left (like the U.K.) and most of the road signs are in English so finding your way around couldn't be easier.

Always carry your drivers licence with you when driving in Cyprus as well as the contact phone numbers supplied when you collected your vehicle  because to drive without it is a fineable offence.

In the unlikely event that your car should be involved in an accident (even a minor one) Inform the police and DO NOT! move your vehicle because in Cyprus the police deal directly with the insurance companies concerning road traffic accidents.

Then inform the hire company using the 24hr help line and they will arrange for collection or replacement of the vehicle according to their terms of service.
